Lisa + Ryan 10.22.11

Now THIS was a celebration!  Lisa and Ryan knew their guests would want to party and even added an extra hour to their reception to make sure they could dance all night... which they did.

Like many of my clients, I worked only with the bride and didn't meet the groom until the wedding day.  Lisa talked about how amazing Ryan is and I was excited to meet him.  He really was sweet and a ton of fun.  Lisa is really laid back and so awesome to work with. Sooo, pretty much an ideal couple!  They were both really focused on enjoying the day with their closest friends and family with the main priorities being great music, food, drinks, and photobooth fun.  During the evening a lot of the guests kept giving me the thumbs up and saying things like "This is so awesome!"  My assistant and I couldn't help but grin at every song that was played... it was like someone read my mind and created the wedding song playlist of my dreams, haha.

As always, I will not brag about my photography skills.  I do envy those with the talent, I just don't have that kind of patience... and usually that kind of time as I am busy setting up.  So I promise to post the pro pictures from the ever fabulous Mary of Church Street when they are available.  For now, here are a few detail shots:

Escort card table

I love these little lovebirds!  So cute.

DIY table number 'lanterns' and beautiful low centerpieces

Sorry the photo doesn't show it well, but the tall branch centerpieces had delicate orchids attached

The windows along the perimeter of the room overlook the golf course

The photos don't do the room justice, the view is really beautiful

Room set up (minus the purple uplights)

Super awesome DIY cardbox... the red is all glittery and the purple/red/silver combo looked amazing

Memorial photo grouping

 Cake table

The cake was perfectly smooth and super yummy. They even had mini cheesecakes later in the night for the non-cake lovers

Congratulations Lisa and Ryan!  I wish you all the love and happiness (and babies hehe) you desire.  It was an honor to spend your wedding day with you... and share some laughs over a "specially wrapped" wedding present.  You did a great job picking everything out... and I know you are super excited for the best part of all, a gorgeous honeymoon!!!  Enjoy your life together!
